READER BIOS
JENNIE P. BARNETT lives in Dorchester and works full time as an Administrative Assistant. An avid gardener, she is without a garden right now but is making up for it by focusing on growing her writing and learning to "hear" her voice.
MITCH MANNING is a poet living in the Fields Corner neighborhood of Dorchester. He works as a writing tutor and a union organizer at UMass Boston and also studies poetry in the MFA program. He's the assistant poetry editor of Consequence Magazine and a co-organizer of Write on the DOT.
BETSABE GOMEZ studies and teaches creative writing at UMass Boston. She is originally from El Centro, California. Her work has been featured in Monkeybicycle and The Coachella Review. She lives in Brighton.
BOYD NIELSON is a poet, translator and activist. He is the author, most recently, of the chapbook Beautiful Enemy(2012). He holds a PhD in American Literature from Tufts University, and he currently lives in Dorchester.
