SUBMISSION GUIDELINES for Write on the DOT Vol III Journal

WRITE ON THE DOT VOL III.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Our journal represents the best of Dorchester writing. We are students, mothers, brothers, city employees; we know what OFD means even if we're DBC. We get up early or stay up late because making sense of the world through words matters.
To see your work included in Write on the DOT Vol. III, we're asking that you please send an original poem, translation, short fiction or other creative work (fewer than 2,500 words; excerpts are OK) by Monday, March 24th (DEADLINE EXTENDED!).

All submission should be emailed to: dotreadingseries@gmail.com.

Depending upon the volume of submissions we receive we may not be able to publish everything. Anyone who has read this year at a Write on the DOT event will given priority, remaining submissions will be juried by an editorial committee if necessary.

You'll all be invited to partake in the journal launch party, featuring a reading and reception on the UMass Boston Campus. We are excited that our launch will coincide with UMass Boston's Watermark Journal for the Arts and look forward to celebrating together in early May. (Time and Place TBA.)

Thank you for your involvement with Write on the DOT. We look forward to hearing from you.
With thanks,
Lynn & The Write on the DOT Committee
